PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
All chapters must provide a certificate of commercial general liability insurance (with no liquor liability exclusions) to the University’s satisfaction in the amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate, name Syracuse University as an additional
insured, using the following language in the certificate:
“Syracuse University is hereby declared to be an additional insured under the terms of this policy. This insurance will not be canceled, non-renewed or modified without thirty (30) days written notice to the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs at Syracuse
University.”
Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, with the concurrence of the Risk Management Department, may modify this requirement for circumstances justifying lower policy limits.
It is the responsibility of each chapter to make sure that insurance is kept up to date, as any lapse in coverage may result in an immediate halt in all chapter programming and activity
on campus.
